This aluminum flange protector works as a reinforcement gusset of your head. With the large 2t pipes its easy to smash it on a rock, bending the pipe and putting a lot of pressure on the head which could be a costly fix. This is easy to install just pull your pipe off, bolt this in to existing holes and put the pipe back on.
